EARTH SKILLS INTENSIVE
JUNE 6 - 10 or July 3-7 - 5 days - $365
Fire making! Stone tools! String and lashing from plant fiber! Come learn these important and
empowering skills as well as wild edibles and medicinals, rawhide preparation, basketry, hand dug clay preparation and pit firing, and atl atl and dart making. You will have all the basic living skills your stone age ancestors used every day as well as a survival confidence. Group dinners around the fire will include wild and naturally harvested foods. Participants have use of a well equipped
outdoor kitchen to prepare their own breakfast and lunch. There is an outdoor solar shower on site and woodsy campsites along the creek.

TRAPPING AND SNARING in Idaho with George Michaud
October 19-26 - 8 days - $935
Complete your survival knowledge with trapping and snaring skills, to provide a reliable source of "meat in the pot"! Learn to trap in swamp, river and forest habitat, set various kinds of traps and snares, and read the environment for animal tracks, sign, and behavior. Also learn trap maintenance, skinning and fleshing techniques, and late fall survival skills. Emphasis will be placed on beaver, muskrat, coon, fox and coyote. Participants will stay in a wall tent / tipi base camp in a wilderness

Students who successfully complete this introcuctory course will have the option to set up an individual trapping experience with George in Idaho.

Everglades National Park is the most exotic and unique national park and wilderness area in the U.S.! Paddle the Wilderness Waterway
from the interior out and around the Ten Thousand Islands, see
unusual and abundant bird life, manatees and dolphins, penetrate a mysterious mangrove swamp, and learn about the rich native culture of the area. Interior "chickee" hut campsites over the water and beach camps on the Gulf make this a unique canoe camping experience.
